GUITAR and VOCALS

Jim picked up his first guitar at the age of ten and never looked back. Since then he has studied music at Hofstra University and Long Island University, and performs regularly as a vocalist, guitarist, bassist and trombonist. His extensive performing career has stretched over many different genres, including jazz, rock, funk, soul, pop, classical and musical theater. Jim's performances have taken him to numerous local, regional and international venues; most notably Carnegie Hall, The Eastman School of Music, Jazz a Vienne and The Montreux Jazz Festival. His musical versatility, excellent rhythmic feel, strong voice and diverse influences make him the perfect compliment to the vast array of music performed by Down and Dirty.
